Hi! It's Jilly. Another stop we made on our epic road trip was in Chicago. We went to Navy Pier and did a SeaDog tour and speedboat ride! It was sooooo awesome!
We did their 75 Minute River and Lake Chicago Architecture Tour. Even though it was rainy we still had a great time. We were all shivering together.
Our tour guide did a great job. He made every person on the boat feel like he was happy they were there. His enthusiasm for Chicago and it's history was infectious!
It was amazing to be riding in a boat through downtown Chicago! I kept thinking to myself, "This is a once in a lifetime experience."
What a wonderful way for my children to learn history! Better than sitting in a classroom any day...even if we were cold and wet. Ha ha!
After touring downtown Chicago we went out into Lake Michigan and had our speedboat ride. The kids loved it!
Next time you're in Chicago you will have to check out the SeaDog tours! They are really, really neat!
